Paul Stojsavljevic Flores was born in the doorway of a steel mill in Gary, Indiana, and now resides in the sourdough comb of San Francisco. He came to poetry through breakdancing and poprocking out of pepperspray webs fronting the courthouses of downtown San Diego. Shifting in and out of rumba candela tempos and uniting the here-to-never-before-seen with thevas-a-ver-lo-que-te-va-a-pasar, his poetry has appeared in Mirage #4/Period(ical) and14 Hills. He is also the winner of the 1997 Bay Guardian Open Poetry Contest.
