Juliana
Spahr won the National Poetry Series for her first book, Response
(Sun & Moon, 1997); her newest book is a critical study, Everybodys
Autonomy: Connective Reading & Collective Identity (U of Alabama,
2001). Spahr teaches at the University of Hawaii and is an editor
of Chain magazine and a member of the Subpress publishing collective.
A second collection of poems, Fuck You-Aloha-I Love You, is due out
