Will Alexander
Will Alexander is the author of Vertical Rainbow Climber(Jazz Press,
1987), Arcane Lavender Morals(Leave Books, 1994), Asia
and Haiti(Sun & Moon Books, 1995), The Stratospheric Chronicles(Pantograph
Press, 1995), and Towards the Primeval Lightning Field (O
Books, 1998). He lives in Los Angeles and has taught at the University
of California, San Diego, at New College of California, and at the Jack
Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics in Boulder. Alexander was a participant
in Small Press Traffic's 1996 conference on the black beat poet Stephen
Jonas and has written widely on many aspects of African American poetry
and surrealism.
